Jammalamadugu is a town situated in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the banks of the river Penneru and is famous for its export of fruits-especially citrus fruits, agricultural and dairy products. It is also famous for its export of sarees manufactured here and in nearby towns. It is the only town in the taluk and is therefore a very important hub for commerce.
