Jandrapeta is a small settlement situated on the Bay of Bengal. It is part of the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. Majority of the population consists of handloom weavers, while the rests are engaged in yarn trading and card making. Jandrapeta has a high literacy rate of 70%, which is higher than the national literacy rate. It was earlier known as Devangapeta.
