Jhalod (or Zalod) is a large city that is located in the Dahod district of Gujarat in India. Jhalod is the district headquarters. It is said to be a town of great historical and commercial significance. It is located 5 km away from the Kushalgarh taluk of Rajasthan. It is near the river Tiodi and is on the eastern border of Gujarat. The Marathas built a small military fort here called ‘Gadi.’ Jhalod is about situated at 686 km south-west of Delhi.
