The place is famous for its vegetable markets as they are shipped to faraway places from here. Kinathukavadu is a centre point for 250 villages nearby for the same. Around 30 km or so, situated in Coimbatore is the Arulmigu Sulakkai Mariamman Temple. It is considered an extremely auspicious place.

The nearest airport to Kinathukadavu is the Coimbatore Airport at about 24km.
There are no trains to this place and the nearest train station is the Podanur Junction.
