Kodakara

Kodakara, a small temple town in Kerala’s Thrissur district, is located on the Salem-Kochi-Kanyakumari Highway. When Tippu Sultan came to this region the temple treasures were hidden for fear of the sultan taking it all away. Some of its nearby cities include Chalakudy, Irinjalakuda, Guruvayoor and Ashtamichira.

About Mahe

Mahe

Formerly a French colony, Mahé, which now comes under the Mahé district of the Union Territory of Puducherry, which is on the east coast, is surrounded by Kannur and Calicut District of Kerala. Also known as Mayyazhi, Maheis famous for the St. Teresa's Church, which brings in people from Singapore, Sri Lanka and England every year during the annual festival.
