Perched at an altitude of 662m above mean sea level, Maddur is located in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Nicknamed as the tender coconut capital of the country, it is surrounded by numerous important tourist destinations. The town is also renowned for a special type of vada, called the Maddur vada.
