Manamadurai is a town in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a part of the Sivaganga district. The nearest major urban agglomerations are the Ramanathapuram and Madurai at distances of 47 km south-east and 49 km north-west respectively. A bypass adjacent to the town allows intercity buses avaoid the town in pursuit of their destinations. In fact, the town lies midway as you approach Ramanathapuram from Madurai.
