Categorised under the Kumta taluk of Karnataka, Mirjan belongs to the Belgaum division of the state. Located in the Uttar Kannad district, it is situated at a distance of 445 km from the state capital of Bangalore. Due to its proximity to the Arabian Sea, the weather is humid in this region.
