Also known as ‘Nrusimhapuri’ and ‘Abhinava Bhootapuri’, Narasapuram is a small township in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Narasapuram is a cosmopolitan town with people of various faiths and ethnicities. It is predominantly a Hindu town but has a large Christian population. The town is famous for its lace weaving handicraft industry which is the main source of livelihood for the rural folk. Fisheries and Aqua culture happen to be the other industries of Narasapuram.
