About Nimbahera

Nimbahera

The city of Nimbahera was named after the local river Nimba. It is at an elevation of 441 m above sea level and is the second largest town of the Chittorgarh district. It is now part of the Udaipur division but used to come under the princely state of Tonk. Nimbahera is known for stone that is found here (it is named after the place) which is a kind of limestone that is used as a material in construction. Nimbahera experiences extreme climatic conditions.

Kishangarh is a small city in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan in India. It was founded by a Rathore Prince called Kishan Singh. The Kishangarh style of painting originated from here. One very famous painting of this style is that of the courtesan Bani Thani.
