Nirmal, a village in the newly formed Telangana’s Adilabad district, is renowned for its unique wooden toys. It got its name from Nimma Naidu, one of the rulers of this place. He was also the patron who had motivated the villagers in making toys, which is a flourishing business in the town today. Nirmal has 14 lakes surrounding the town, which make it scenic and alluring.

The nearest airport from here is the Nanded Airport, which is 121 km from here.
Nanded Junction Railway Station (127 km away) is the major railhead connecting the village to other cities. However, the nearest railway station from here is in Dhanora, which is 75 km away.
There are buses from Medipally, Nizamabad and Hyderabad. Besides the state-run buses, Orange Tours and Travels cater to passengers travelling on this route. Volvo bus is the most preferred choice of all travellers these days.
