A coastal town in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, Omassery is the gateway to the Western Ghats in Malabar. A part of the North Kerala division, Omassery connects Thamarassery, Kattangal Mukkam, Koduvally, Thiruvambady and Kodencheri. Its district headquarters is located 29 km away. There are several mosques and temples in the area that are worth visiting.
