About Ozar

Ozar

Ozar is situated on the banks of the Kukadi river. It is also called Ojhar or Ojzar and is a popular pilgrim town in the Junnar  taluka of Pune. Its temples attract tourists from all over the country, the Vigneshwara Temple or Vighnahar Ganapati Temple is the most popular. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this temple was constructed to celebrate him defeating Vignasura, the demon of obstacles. The months between September and April are considered to be the best months to visit Ozar.

The Swami Brahmanand Cave (4 km from Malvan), the Vigneshwara Temple (4 km from Narayangaon), the HAL Museum or the Pragati Aerospace Museum (in the outskirts of Nashik) are popular tourist spots in Ozar.

The nearest airport to Ozar is the Pune airport which is approximately 85 km from Ozar.

Rail:
Ozar does not have a railway station. So the best option for tourists visiting Ozar is to take a train from the Pune Junction.

Bhilwara

Bhilwara is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. The city comes under the Mewar region of the state and also happens to be the district capital. It is said that Arjuna, one of the Pandavs, passed with his gopis while heading to Dwarika during the Mahabharata-era. The major urban agglomerations of Ajmer and Udaipur are at distances of 134 and 169 km respectively.

Some of the places worth visting in and around the city are Kyara ke Balaji (a spontaneously appeared image of lord Hanuman on a rock), Harni Mahadev (consisting of a Shiva Lingam under a mountain) and Badnore Fort among others . However, Ajmer as a city has plenty of options, among which are the Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti – a great Sufi saint, the Taragarh Fort, Soniji Ki Nasiyan, Nareli Jain Temple and Lake Foysagar.

Air:
The Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur is the nearest airport at a distance of 146 km.

Rail:
The city has a pretty big railway station of its own connecting it to other towns and cities.
