Peddapuram is a municipal town in the east Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It is located 21 kms towards north from the district head quarters Kakinada and 455 kms from the state capital Hyderabad towards west. Peddapuram is the capital town for Peddapuram Mandal, the largest industrial park. This town is known for its historical, cultural and social heritage. Peddapuram is also famous for its silk sarees.
