Perurupeta is a town in the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a part of the Coastal Andhra region. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Rajahmundry at a distance of 76 km north, across the mighty Godavari river. The virgin beaches on the Bay of Bengal coast are just 11 km south. Those with a keen interest in temples and water bodies should visit this place.
