Phansu is a small village in the district of Ratnagiri of Maharashtra in India. It comes under the Dapoli taluka and belongs to the Konkan division. It was named after the ‘phanas,’ or the jackfruit. It is situated just 85 km towards north of the district headquarters of Ratnagiri and 18 km from Dapoli. It is 185 km from Mumbai.
