Radhanpur was established around 1693 by Khan Jahan (who also founded the infamous Babi dynasty) and today, Radhanpur belongs to the Patan district of Gujarat. As historical sources suggest, the city of Radhanpur has been named after Radhan Khan, a descendant of Fateh Khan Baloch. Patan, Modhera, Mehsana and Banaskantha are the cities that are near Radhanpur. Though the summers are harsh here, the weather becomes more docile after the monsoons.
