Perched at an altitude of 575 m above mean sea level, Ramnagar is the gateway town to Jim Corbett National Park. Located at a distance of 65 km from the district headquarters of Ramnagar, the origins of this town can be traced to the Mahabharata. Due to its location on the foothills, summers are humid here. However, winters are pleasant and chilly here. Garjiya Devi Temple and Seeta Bani Temple are among the important tourist destinations nearby.
