Ramod is the largest village in the Kotda Sangini Taluka which belongs to the Rajkot district, the former capital of the princely state of Saraushtra which now in the state of Gujarat. Ramod is 47 km from its district headquarter Rajkot and 266 kilometres from the state capital, Gandhinagar. A good time to visit would be in the winter months when the temperature ranges between 21 to 29 degrees celsius or June to October.
