Sanawad, a town in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district, lies on the banks of the river Bakud. It is renowned for its Jain temples and because of the several fairs it hosts it is also called the City of Mela. Formerly, this town was called, Senud. Sanawad has several places of tourist interest like the Namokar Dham garden and Omkareshwar.
