Sillod is a major city in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. The Aurangabad District Court has its seat here. Sillod, whose economy is held strong by farming, is one of the leading producers of maize, corn, cotton, and ginger. Palshi, Bharadi, and Borgaon Bazaar are the major villages near Sillod.
