Sindkhed Raja is a city as well as taluka in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra. Situated on State Highway No. 183, Sindkhed Raja happens to be the birth place of Rajmata Jijabai, the mother of the great Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji.
