Located in Sivagangai district of Tamil Nadu, Singampunari is an industrial and temple town. The town is well-known for its coconut rope production and groundnut oil mills. Since Singampunari is situated near the Madurai-Chennai highway and the Coimbatore-Palani - Karaikudi-Devakottai route, all buses passing via the region stop here.
