A town in Bellary district of Karnataka, Siruguppa has the highest number of rice Industries in the state. The two tributaries of the Tungabadhra River –Hagari and Chikka Hagari pass through the town. The town, which is located 53kms from the District Head Quarters Bellary ranks the 4th in the state in terms of area and population. Since the town is located between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, the town is well-connected by road to both the states.
