A small village situated in the state of Karnataka, Thodar belongs to the Dakshina Kannada district. It is situated at a distance of 29 km from Mangalore and nearly 34 km from Puttur. Tourists are mainly attracted to the village for the annual Kambala race of buffaloes, held between the months of November and March.
