Trimbak is a city situated in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. It is also a municipal council. It is situated at a distance of 28.7 km from the city of Nashik. The main attraction of the place is the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple, which contains a three-faced Linga portraying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The city also shares close proximity with the origin of the Godavari River, known as a sacred river.
