Udma is a small village in the Kasargod district of Kerala. It is a part of the Kanhagad taluka in the North Kerala division. It is renowned for its coir and handloom industries. Due to its close proximity to the Arabian Sea, it experiences humid climate all through the year. The livelihood of the people here depends mainly on fisheries since it has a vast coastline.
