A town in Kerala’s Palakkad district, Vadakkanchery is a beautiful area with numerous temples, churches and mosques. It is well connected by road as the National Highway 47 passes through this town. It got its name from two Malayalam words vadakkan, meaning northern and cheri meaning street.
