The village of Anjarakandy is located in the Kannur district of the state of Kerala. It is located 18 km from Kannur and also it is not very far from Thallesary town. This town is famous for its Cinnamon plantation and also for its coffee, sandal wood and pepper plants. Previously it was an estate set up by the British for all the plantations and slowly it transformed into a village.

Muzhuppilangad Beach is another tourist spot near Anjarakandy. It is a beautiful and serene location for all travelers. Thalassery Fort is a historical place near Anjarakandy. It was built in 1708 by the East India Company. Parassinikkadavu Temple is a famous temple in south India. It is situated 20 kms away from Kannur. It is famous for its natural beauty. Boating facilities are available for tourists.

There are a number of shops and malls in Kalady where one can find almost everything one desires for. There are branded showroom and also shops selling ethnic clothes and handicrafts.
How to get there:
It is well connected by roads to all the major places of Kerala. It is not very far from Kannur and from Thallesary town. Kannur railway station is the nearest station from this place and one can get a train to all major places of India from there. There are trains running at regular intervals from Kannur to the major places of India.
Mangalore and Kozhikode are the two nearest airports from this place. One can travel to these two airports and travel to their desired destination from these airports.
