Changancherry is a municipality town in Kottayam district of the state of Kerala. It is located at a distance of 20 km of Kottayam and 7 km off Thiruvalla. There are a number of tourist places near Changancherry.

Puzhavathu:
There are a number of places of worship in this place. Within a range of 100 meters Kavil Bhagavathi Temple, the Changancherry Metropolitan Church and the famous Pazhayapally muslim jamaath are located. The Ananthapuram Sree Krishna Temple, The Vettadi Temple, The Mutharamma Temple, The Vaikunteswara Santhanagopala Murthi Temple are also located here.
Perunnai:
Perunnai is a suburb of Changancherry. Perunna Subrahmanya Swami temple is one of the famous temples here. It is a beautiful place with a number of scenic spots. Perunnai is located 8 km from Tiruvalla and Kottayam is located 21 km from Perunnai. The famous Ayurveda hospital group, Sree Sankara Community for Ayurveda Consciousness Limited and the Amba Ayurvaidyasala are situated at Perunnai.
Cheeranchira:
It is another suburb of Changancherry town located in Kerala. The early settlers from the nearby places came to this town.
