The city of Gulbarga is located in the southern state of Karnataka. It is located at a distance of 200 km from Hyderabad and around 623 km from Bangalore.
PLACES OF TOURIST INTEREST:
At the heart of the city of Gulbarga, is located Sharan Basaveshwara temple. Every year lakhs of pilgrims visit this temple to offer their prayers and seek blessings of the almighty.
Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz mausoleum is an important tourist attraction in Gulbarga. It attracts a large number of tourist every year. It was built by King Ahmed Shaha Wali.
There are a number of magnificent buildings inside the Gulbarga’s old moated fort. There is the Jama Masjid Gulbarga which signifies great architecture of the 14th and 15th century. The mosque is a place not to be missed by tourists. There are 15 towers inside the fort.
Situated very close to Gulbarga is the Sri Kshetra Ghangapur which is a pilgrimage center.
