The municipal market at Kallakurichi is the most important commercial center and the shopping area for the residents of the place and also the surrounding area. There are a number of shops around thousands to cater to all the needs of the people living in the town as well as the nearby rural area. Uzhavar Santhai is a thriving farmer’s market.

How to get there:
There is proper road connectivity from this town to Chennai and other major nearby cities. It is served by the NH 68 till Chennai.
The Salem Airport is 100 km away and is the nearest airport to it. It has a number of flights connecting to the major places.
The nearest railway station is the Chinnasalem 15 km from Kallakurichi.
