Khammam is a small municipal town located in the Khammam District of the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It forms the headquarters of the Khammam District and is situated about 193km from the state capital Hyderabad. This place is known to house many tourist attractions.

The Khammam Killa: The Khammam Killa of this town is visited by people from different places. This fort which is 1000 years old is located at a very high altitude enclosed between the hills enabling the visitors to get a panoramic view of the entire town from here.
