Kollam also referred to as Quilon, is a popular city located in the Indian state of Kerala. This city forms the headquarters of the Kollam district. This city that is about 5th largest city of the state lies at a distance of 71km from the capital city Thiruvananthapuram. Several developing towns like Kottiyam, Kundaram and Chavara come under the Kollam District.
