In the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu, there is a small panchayat town called Singampuneri. This town belongs to the Sivaganga district and comes under the Thirupathur constituency.

There is a temple called “Vathiyar Ayya” where pujas are performed on every full moon day exactly at midnight 12:00. During this puja thousands of devotees flock to this temple to pay homage to the gods.
