Tiruvalla or popularly known as Thiruvalla, is a small city that is considered as Taluk headquarters situated at Pathanamthitta district of Kerala State India. This entire city is established on an area of about 27.94 km2 having a tropical climate at a temperature ranging between 34.4 °C maximum to a minimum of 18.5 °C and a proper rainfall of about 3040 mm round the year. Thiruvalla is a well established city located exactly on western boundary of Pathanamthitta District. However, earlier it is also considered that some areas of current town of Changanacherry were under the part of Thiruvalla but at present the borders of the Taluk are shared by the Varattar Bridge on the southern part.
