Velayuthampalayam is a small town located in the located in the Kundadam Taluk of the Karur District of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is situated about 329 km from the capital city Chennai. This village lies at the base of the Pugali Malai Arunattan Malai. This place is the abode of Lord Murugan. The Cauvery River is only 3km from the place.
