Vilathikulam is a small panchayat town located in the Thoothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is situated on the banks of the Vaipar River due to which it has a humid climate. It is a serene town situated only 429km from the capital city Chennai. Vilathikulam is located in centre of the Karisal Kaadu region. PANCHALAMKURICHI FORT: This fort was built by Veera Pandya Kattabomman, the then Tamil ruler of the place.
