I travelled by National Travels Bus (22:25 Hrs. boarding at Madiwala) from Bangalore to Chennai for the second time. Bus condition, speed, suspension and crew behavior is good. Nothing to comment. The only remark is on the departure time. The bus came to the departure point very late and it was difficult to wait for such a long time at the departure point. Suggestion : The bus operator can improve by making arrangements to enable the bus to reach the departure point on time (or) the departure time itself can be postponed to 23:00 Hrs.

I booked from madurai to chennai on 23.01.2015 10.45PM a/c sleeper. they called and informed me that 10.45 bus is cancelled and told me to come earlier to catch 10.15PM bus. they allotted Upper berth to me instead of Lower birth (which is booked originally). But one good thing is that they started at 10.30Pm and reached koyambedu by 6.00PM . They normally never start and reach on time. But as the other bus was cancelled they could fill the entire seats and started on time. The condition of Bus was good. A/C was working fine.

I have had very bad expirence with national on the chennai - madurai route. The bus wont start on time. The biggest problem is they go into trichy bus stand & halt there for 1 hour ... may be more to get people. Its a total waste of time

Dear Authority, I got really very uspet with the service provided by the Nationa Travels Volvo multi-axle bus service from Chennai to Bangalore. My boarding point was at Thiruvanmiyur Signal and before 1 hour of starting my journey to Bangalore, they called me and told...that my bus will not come to pick me up from the said location..I meant if they do not commit what they claim..why the..... they do it ? And, moreover they told me if you do not want to travel you can cancel your ticket without caring or knowing the purpose of the journey..these people just wanted their comfort zones to be in. They told if you can come to Chennai central you can only board the bus...After all these harrasment anyhow I made it to reach the Chennai Central around 10.50pm and when I called their guy from central, these people do not even know how to treat their customers....Its really very shameful to be a part of this hectic and harrased journey.... For me, it was the 3rd and the last journey with this travel.....

I really fed up with that bus quality and punctuality. When i booked the ticket last drop point was periyar bus stand. The bus reached mattuthavani 2 hours late and they said mattuthavani is last stop. Staff behaviour is very worst in this case. They are not maintained A/C properly and temperatures was high.

This is the worst operated bus, bad punctuality,bad behaviour.

I traveled on 31 st aug 14 from Srivilliputhur to Chennai.Such a very bad experience i had. The bus quality was very poor. They charged Rs.1500 for one way its not at all worthy to pay such amount. Only 1 hr the A/C was functioned.That too the staff he was arguing with the passengers for everything. Bus was not stopped in a proper place to take food or interval.Bus was started at 9.15 p.m and reached chennai in the morning 8.15 a.m that too the outer (perungalathur).The travel was a tragedy.But for the bus rating was given 3/5 that's the only reason i chosen this bus irrespective of the money. Please don't give wrong suggestions and don't fool the public. Don't spoil your name by supporting the wrong one.

Booked ticket in national travels from banglore to chennai for 28-08-2014(jabbar & national are partners, same bus ll only come if booked in jabbar or national) semi-sleeper A/C. I booked the ticket prior to one month, so the cost was very less, cost was less that 500(since it is festival time the ticket rate will be high if booked at last minute). Me and other 7 passengers were waiting on the boarding point at electronic city yesterday around 3:45 PM. We talked to the travels and they informed that the bus 'll com in another 5 mins. When the bus came, we showed our tickets to the conductor. He saw the ticket, he told that this not the right bus and another bus will come(But that was the right bus actually, i have travelled in same bus in normal days and i know that only 1 bus is there at that time). When we called the travels they informed us that the tickets are canceled and they told us to contact the online site which we booked(each passenger booked in different sites like ticketgoose, redbus, goibobo, etc). We were shocked as there was no prior information about the cancellation and we were 8 people waiting on the bording point. When we contacted the online booking office we came to know that the ticked is not canceled but the travels company has canceled those tickets as they were less cost and they has sold the same tickets with high rate to some other people(current rate was more than 1100). The online booking office told that they 'll refund the money but for us the money refund was not important at that time, we dint have any option to travel and they dint make any alternative arrangements. I booked the ticket prior for comfortable travel and dint prefer night travel because I need to be home at night as there function at home in early morning. I felt very disappointed as I started from office at 3:30 PM on thursday and was in a hurry to catch the bus as it starts at 3:50 PM. As it was festival time all buses were full, so couldn't get any bus. Finally I went to hosur and got a bus to Chennai, but it was a normal bus (only sitting no, semi-sleeper or sleeper) and I reached Chennai at 2:15 AM. My whole body is paining and felt very tired the whole day, dint sleep well and couldn't feel the festival mood. Many private travels cheat the passengers at festival time like this.

Staff behavior is very bad. They started 9 o clock bus only At 10.15. Their employees itself doesn't know where the bus is. With all customers standing they are all fighting within themselves. Bad experience. Would recommend this to NO CUSTOMERS.

It was a horrible experience travelling in National Travels. Bus was supposed to start from central at 10.15 and reached central at 10.45 and the bus was in koyambedu till 12.15 looking for more passengers. It was very bad behaviour that they are looking for passengers in each and every place and filling the bus. It reached avinashi at 8.30 in avinashi and some accident happened,,, never ever recommend to others

The Bus was satisfactory but behaviour of staffs were very bad.

Overall journey was ok though there was delay of 25 mins. We were little restless because we dint get the crew mobile#. Instead we were given different office numbers, but in Bommanahalli boarding, no office is there. Hence in such cases, appreciate if we can get the crew mobile numbers.

The crew tried to make me board from a different point as opposed to what was mentioned at the time of booking. After intervention from the travels co-ordinator the bus arrived late and I was forced to travel in an ac bus even though I had specifically booked a non ac bus due to some breathing problems. In a nut shell, it was a terrible experience.

Decent bus - Though the A/C was not working to the desired level, they did not provide a blanket for the A/C sleeper coach... they did not stick to the timings there was delay both while pick up and while dropping at madurai. But still i feel this bus is much safer and much better than the KPN bus which starts from Adyar by 9.00 pm. Points for improvement: Improve A/C and provide blankets Keep up to timing- Punctuality is very important.

The staff behavior was very worst. I called the person to ask about the pickup point bu the guy who spoke to me was rude and spoke like he is doing a charity. They put the bus on hold in the pickup point for 45 minutes to fill the few seats left which went to their pocket and not to the management. Like black ticket. Bus is full of mosquito as well. Book only if you don't have any option left.
