PRARTHANA BEACH DRIVE-IN THEATRE
Prarthana Beach Drive-In Theatre, was founded by Dr. N. Devanathan, a former advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Chief minister and also a member of the Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam Board (TTD).Located at Dr. Rangachari Road, Mylapore, in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Prarthana is the world’s first beachside drive in theatre complex and the first ever beach drive-in theatre in India. Prarthana meaning “prayer” was established to provide wholesome entertainment to people in an entirely different ambience.
