Akola

Akola is a city located in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. It is situated 250 km west of Nagpur, and 584 km east of Mumbai. Akola is now a developing city in the Vidarbha region. It is known for cotton production, oil mills, grain market and various types of dal. The IT sector is growing at a high rate in this region. It is the third biggest city in the region of Vidarbha.

Beed

Beed is a city in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a part of the district by the same name. It is speculated that the city was founded by the Yadava rulers of Devagiri who ruled the region from 1173-1317. Later, it became a part of the Hyderabadi Nizams – the Asaf Jahis. After Hyderabad’s annexation, Beed was made to be a part of Maharashtra on May 1, 1960 as the city had a Marathi majority.
