About Allahabad


Allahabad, the metropolitan city in state of Uttar Pradesh, also known as Prayag (place of offerings), is the seventh most populous city in Uttar Pradesh. It plays the host to the largest religious gathering in the world, The Kumbh Mela, which is celebrated every twelve years.

How to Get There

The Bamrauli Airport of Allahabad is 12km from the city centre and offers domestic flights.

The Allahabad Junction (railway station) is 2km from the Civil Lines bus station. The other railway stations are Prayag Station (4km from Civil Lines bus station), Allahabad Junction (2km from railway station), and Daraganj Station (6km from Civil Lines bus station).

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation operates buses from here to other major cities. The Allahabad Central Bus Station (Civil Lines Bus station) is the major bus stand, located at the city centre. About Bahraich


Bahraich is a small town in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is the headquarters of the district by the same name and lies very close to the international border with Nepal, which is just 50 km away at a distance of 50 km. Due to the proximity to the Himalayas, the region experiences a bitter cold winter, yet a very hot summer.

The town does not have good lodging facilities, which is why tourists are forced to venture into Lucknow, the state capital, at a distance of 129 km. The area is not abundant with places of tourist interest. A ride to the international border can be an exciting experience. Indian nationals are allowed to cross over to Nepal without passports and visas. So if you are planning to head to Nepal, especially via Lucknow, you will have to pass through here.
