About Allahabad

About Unchahar


Unchahar is a town in Uttar Pradesh and is also a nagar panchayat in the Raebareli district. It is located on the highway that connects Lucknow (116 km from Unchahar) and Allahabad (86 km from Unchahar). The town is 10 km away from the River Ganges and hosts a market for rural areas around Unchahar. The Feroze Gandhi Thermal Power Plant is also located here. With a population of over 90,000, Unchahar houses three famous schools as well.
