About Amravati


A city in Maharashtra, Amravati is located the Deccan plateau. It lies mainly in Tapi basin and also along the valley of Wardha. This city is said to be the most populated area of Maharashtra. The name of the place has been derived from the  ancient Ambadevi Temple. According to Hindu myths, this place belongs to Lord Indra. It is also said that Lord Krishna eloped and married Rukmani from the famous Ambadevi Temple.

About Ner


Ner is a picturesque village in Maharashtra with several dams around the place. Its district headquarters, Yavatmal, is located about 33 km away. Some of the cities situated near this village are Wadgaon Road (34 km) and Amravati (57 km). The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon when the dams and reservoirs are full and the village is lush green.
