A village situated on the banks of the Pampa River in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Annavaram has recently become a much revered place of pilgrimage. The people of this village believe that the land belongs to the two presiding deities, Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swami Temple and Goddess Anantalaxmi Satyavathi Ammavaru.
