Annavarppadu, a small hamlet in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is situated about 45 km from Rajahmundry, across the Godavari river. The village does not have any tourist attraction. However, Rajahmundry (45 minutes away) has a couple of good options which will interest both locals as well as foreigners. The climatic conditions are mostly hot and humid.
Places to Stay
One is forced to venture into Rajahmundry in order to put up for the night. There are a couple of good budget hotels in the city. Some of the options which are worth a try are Vaishnavi Hotel (Tariff – Rs. 500), Akshay Residency (Tariff – Rs. 600), Sangam Residency Hotel (Tariff – Rs. 500) and Sai Priya Residency (Tariff – Rs. 500) among others.

Places of Interest
The village in itself does not have great places of interest unlike Rajahmundry. Some of the places worth visiting in Rajahmundry are Gowthami Ghat, Godavari Bund, Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Sir Arthur Cotton Museum, a boat ride on the river Godavari and others.

The nearest airports are the Rajahmundry and Vijayawada airports at distances of 45 and 115 km respectively.
Rajahmundry Railway Station is the nearest major railway station at a distance of 29 km.
Various state transport buses as well as private buses connect the village to different cities in the region. Online bus tickets are available on a number of bus booking websites which has made it easy for travellers to confirm their tickets.
