A hillside village situated in the God’s Own country, Aryankavu is a small village in Kollam district of Kerala. Situated about 73 km east of Kollam, it is one of the most important pilgrim centres of the district. The Western Ghats pass through this village which is also connected by the National Highway 208 near Punalur and Thenmala. Aryankavu is famous for its Ayyappan (Sastha) temple. This temple is one among the five most important temples dedicated to Lord Ayyappa in Kerala.
