Balehonnur is a small town in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka in South India. Unlike most of the other parts of Karnataka, the town is located in a picturesque location on the banks of the Bhadri river with greenery and hills everywhere. The town also hosts two important mutts (monasteries) - Sri Rambhapuri and the Shrimad Jagadguru Rambhapuri Veerasimhasana Mahasamstana Peeta.
