Mudhol

Located in the northern part of the state of Karnataka, Mudhol is famous for its grinding stones. The city is situated on the banks of river Ghataprabha and is quite famous for the large number of handlooms handmade saree manufactured here. The Shiva Temple called Nelagudi which means Under Ground Temple is a must visit for the tourists. The place is also famous for the hunting dog breed of Mudhol Hound.
