A town in the Palakkad district of Kerala, Ottapalam is situated on the banks of the Bharathappuzha river. This town has witnessed many historic events. Although the town is located only 35kms away from Palakkad, Ottapalam is said to be culturally very different from the district. The temples in this town are quite famous across the south.
